Great Plains Bank has announced a $10,000 donation to the Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Foundation Fire Relief Fund.
The recent wildfires in Western Oklahoma have resulted in a devastating loss for beef producers in the area. Many residents have lost homes, land, cattle, barns and equipment in the fires.
“These wildfires have been absolutely devastating, and we’ve seen so many customers, employees and neighbors suffer incredible losses,” said Great Plains Bank Woodward President Steve Jones. Great Plains Bank Taloga President Cindy Vanderwork added, “We knew we had to do something to help get people back on their feet. We’re grateful to the Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association for pulling these resources together to assist those impacted by the fires.”
